We are excited to kick off the new-year with the launch of Zero B Marketing.
Zero B = Zero Budget and Zero Bull.
You can spend as much or as little as your business has on marketing and many organisations spend 1000’s a year, but never get the results they were expecting. Getting advice from agencies, consultants and small business forums is a great way to find out what other organisations have done. However, rarely do we find the time, resolve or have the knowledge to focus on it for long.
My point, in this blog, is that marketing your business is not a science or an art-form, it is just the persistent application of effective, timely and relevant communication, enabling you to target customers or them find you, understand what you do, trust you and buy from your business.
To prove this point I have set up this company and launched on the 1st January 2019 with as little budget as possible, so far £96. Using two old laptops and over 30 years of experience, we will build and deliver marketing plans and activities for small businesses in our region.
Zero Budget – there is a lot you can do to create, build and grow your customer base – you just need to know what tools to use and when. Similar to any other trade. You really don’t need to spend 1000’s, but you do need to invest on good plan, that delivers your message to your market.
Zero Bull – well, we have all seen Dragons Den, imagine that we will take over the world within a year… but in reality the day job gets in the way and our efforts dwindle after a few weeks. So, from me, No Bull, just practical marketing campaigns, using low cost tools and tangible measurement.
I will be sharing a monthly review, update on what we have achieved, what we have spent, some results and lessons learnt.
